Practical information

Our museum is located on Ignacego Paderewskiego 4 Street, vis a vis the entrance to Stary Kleparz Market (Old Clepard).

On foot from the train/bus station: 10-15 min
On foot from the Wawel Castle: 30 min

We are located in the paid parking zone. You can easily find a parking spot on one of paid parkings on Św. Filipa Street, in the Galeria Krakowska mall or at the roof of a bus station nearby. You can read more about the paid parking zone HERE.

For organised groups coming by coach, we recommend checking locations of touristic stops in advance.

The nearest can be found on plac Matejki, next to the building number 2, on Warszawska Street, next to the Cracow University of Technology (1 spot) or on Pawia Street, next to the building number 18a (2 spots)

By tram/bus: “Stary Kleparz” stop

We recommend downloading the app JAKDOJADE.PL to ease moving around Cracow in the public transport. Tickets can be bought in machines at some bus stops or inside trams/buses.

Visiting our museum means participating in the workshops of obwarzanek baking, during which you will get to know more on the topic and make your own obwarzanek krakowski.

Individual clients – workshops for individual clients do not take place every day of the week and we do not allow people to join the organised groups. We recommend checking the dates of our upcoming workshops. You can do it by clicking the “BUY ONLINE” button. We suggest buying tickets in advance on our website. The tickets are rarely available on site on the day of the visit.

Groups – making reservations through our RESERVATION FORM in advance is required. There is no calendar that displays the available dates on our website. You must write down the preferred dates in the form. Please remember that we do not make reservations on the phone call. Booking the date means that it is necessary to pay an advance (100-200 PLN, depending on the group size). An unsettled reservation is automatically cancelled.

We are very sorry to inform that our museum is not fully adapted for people using wheelchairs. There are 3 steps at the door. There is no problem with moving around the room A with a wheelchair, but it is impossible to do that in the room B, due to its size, tables setting and yet another step at the door. Room C does not have any stairs at the entrance. In such case, we highly recommend asking about the room for your workshops in advance. Here on site our staff will always be happy to help.

During the workshops participants encounter wheat flour, poppy seeds and sesame seeds. On site you can find the full list of allergens that can be found in obwarzanek and obwarzanapka (sandwich made of obwarzanek).
